My 13-year-old daughter is searching for her horse! She has ridden western for years, takes regular lessons, and works with a trainer. She has worked incredibly hard to earn and save her own money for this horse.
We're open to a horse that may need some finishing or be a bit of a project, but safety is our top priority. No bucking, rearing, bolting, or dangerous behaviors.
Looking for:
• Under 10 years old
• Healthy and sound, or honestly represented
• Around 14.2–16 HH
• Gelding or mare
• Trail and arena riding with the potential for barrels, fun shows, etc.
• Budget: $5,000 or less
• A black horse would be the dream, but color is much less important than finding the right partner.
We're looking for a horse with a willingness to learn, and potential to grow together. We know every horse has quirks, and we're happy to consider one that needs more experience or finishing with guidance from a trainer.
