Hey seniors! Want to be a snow bird this winter? This is a great opportunity to see if going south is right for you. For rent for the winter season, an older park model home located in a 55+ park in Weslaco Texas. This is a one bedroom, one bath, living room, dining area, kitchen. Has a washer (no dryer), clothesline, grill, small storage shed, covered car port. Renter will enjoy all the amenities of this fabulous 55+ gated community including 24 hr day swimming pool, hot tub access. Club house that holds regular dances, cards, and other events. A room off the office with a pool table. Laundry room with washer/dryers for small fee. Shuffle board court including tournaments and scheduled games. Annex room with library and puzzles and community area. Post office and package delivery. Weslaco TX is next to the Mexico border and you can park on the America side and walk across for access to cheap pharmacy, dentists, glasses, etc. and great authentic food. It is near Brownsville and is a 1 hour drive from South Padre Island. We can not go this year and are looking for a tenant who will take if for the whole winter. Minimum of 2 months. You could start in January or February and must stay for minimum 2 months. Cost is $1,000 per month plus your own utilities, which is mainly electricity. Owner will pay lot rent and grass cutting. Renter will also pay a $1,000 security deposit that is refundable after the owner can fly down in April or May and inspect the property for damage. This is an amazing opportunity. House has dishes, cookware, utensils, towels, linens. Just pack your warm weather clothes and go. You will meet the owner in Duluth to sign contract and pick up the keys. Interested parties only.
