We are a well-established local construction company that has been in business for over 10 years. We do a variety of construction work; however, our primary work scope is residential interior and exterior remodeling. We are looking to hire an Experienced Lead Carpenter.
Lead carpenters will work directly with the project manager to ensure projects stay within timelines, manage and train other carpenters on the crew, and make sure all work completed meets company standards.
Applicants should have proficient skills in aspects of the home building and remodeling process. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required. Experience leading a crew or job site is preferred, however we are willing to train the right candidate.
Our general working hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30 am-5:30 pm with a 30-minute paid lunch. We provide year-round local work with a consistent schedule.
We are a small company, and we value a positive work environment. We are looking for applicants who are committed, have leadership skills and are self-motivated.
The general pay scale for an experienced lead carpenter is $30-$40 per hour, however wage will be determined based on experience and skill level. We are not a union company, however we offer PTO, sick pay, profit-sharing (in addition to hourly pay), retirement benefits, flexible scheduling, use of a company vehicle, and local year-round work.
Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to and from work, and be able to lift at least 75 lbs. independently.
