This is a 1952 Bally Frolics Bingo Pinball machine. This is a six card machine and has two features, extra ball and Super Score. The backglass has peeling in various areas as shown in the pictures. The extra ball function may or may not work, I can get it to "flash" but I have yet to get the extra ball to locks in. I troubleshot this and could not find any problems. This may be due to odds settings rather than an actual malfunction but so far I have not been able to get extra ball when I hit the extra ball button.
This machine is set up for .25 cents a play rather than .05 cents due to lack of availability of 5 cent coin mechanisms. The coin mechanism does work and you could also jumper that feature if you like with a simple switch for free play. I can show you how you do it.
The number 9 on cards 4,5, and 6 does not light when the ball lands in it however it does recognize it and it works to get a bingo win. Most likely a wiring problem which can be solved with a easy solder job.
The credit reel works but it can sometimes stick. I did clean it up but it could use a more thorough cleaning.
One of the lamp protectors springs is broken however it is on the play field and I do have a resource for you to buy them.
When I bought this machine it was not working and I did all of the repairs. There seems to be no other problems with this machine. If you are interested in learning bingos, this is a great machine to start with. It has the most basic features. Owners manual and schematics are with the machine.
