Very efficient on hard snow at high speed carving. Great in giant slalom, also good in deep powder snow ,(a bit heavy and physical, but if you put weight on the ski tip it's OK). The ski is very strong.
To open the midsection (sliding part) of the Atomic 412 bindings for adjustment, you flip the small lever on the toe piece to the side, which unlocks the sliding mechanism, allowing you to push or pull the toe and heel pieces to match your boot sole length, then flip the lever back to lock it in place; this makes the binding easily movable for mounting or adjusting
Weaknesses:
The only weakness is its weight, but very strong skis and long lasting ones are heavy.
