Hello. My landlord's furnaces went out last winter. One of his long-term tenants moved out in the Spring 2023, he lost his place, then moved into the basement again, took up working on the furnaces that need separating per code enforcement. To pay him for his work, the landlord wants me to move to give him subsidized rent. There is no furnace currently, and he wants me out. I pay $450, a room with a shared commons area and $15 for cable. I own a dog. We stay in our room all the time. I need a place by 12/15/2023. I was planning on moving back to St. Paul, but I've been attempting to finish my education at UWS.
