favorite this post Polymet Mining for copper good or bad? (Northern Minnesota) hide this posting unhide

Does anyone think Polymet is good or bad for the economy and environment? Just curious when they are going to start digging so I can make some money on my investment in the company.

The more electric cars that are produced, the more copper we need. So I think it's a great idea to start digging for copper in Minnesota.

An electric car uses 80% more copper than an internal combustion engine.

"The average electric vehicle has 165 pounds of copper in it. Over 88 pounds of copper are in the batteries alone"

Dig that copper up! Make me some money in Polymet!!

So all of the people who oppose Polymet and mining yet drive their electric cars, what is your opinion on "Clean" electric car energy and where do you think the materials come from?
