This is a Hot Rod red Yamaha Recording Series set purchased new in 1981. Great condition, all lugs have been lubed, all lug casings are filled with cotton, bearing edges waxed. All toms include R.I.M.S. or R.I.M.S. style mounts, including the floor tom.
Sizes are: 8 x8", 8 x 10", 9 x 13", 10 x 14", 16 x 16", 14 x 24". All drums, except the 8 x 8" have hard shell cases. Kick drum and floor tom cases are like new! Also included: a 2nd, optional R.I.M.S. mount for the floor tom, original floor tom legs and mounts, 4 tom mounting arms, 4 backing plates for the toms in case you want to go back to the original mounting system, 2 Tama straight cymbal stands and 1 partial Yamaha cymbal/tom stand.
There are a few nicks and scuffs--this kit was used, but always packed/transported in road cases.
