This banger has been in my arsenal since it came out, but I'm not a metal drummer, despite my strong appreciation for Danny Carey and Matt Garstka. It's just too heavy for my tastes - I have a hard time playing a ride I can't crash. I've recorded with it several times, the easiest of which to find is my EP Mistaking Formality For Reverence, streaming everywhere.

This cymbal has been played a lot over the years, and it has a few little battle scars, scratches, a dent in the edge that was too small to photograph in focus, stick marks, and a couple of tiny water spots. None of these affect the sound in the slightest, and if you're looking for a unique ride that cuts through the mix, this just might be for you.
