Highland Village Apartments is looking for a maintenance technician. We are a small, family owned property management company in Minnesota. We value our employees. -Previous trade experience is valued, but we will train the right candidate for this position
-Honesty and integrity are a must. We work in people's homes, and we work hard to maintain that trust with our clients
-40 hours per week. Business hours are Monday through Friday. After hours on-call is required, but is shared by all employees on a rotating basis (such that it occurs one week every six weeks).
-You must have reliable transportation. You do not need to bring your own tools, we supply them
-Health insurance is provided by the employer. Retirement savings is provided and matched 3% by the employer. Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays are provided by the employer. We aim to provide a fair, decent and manageable workplace for our employees, and hope our employees stay with us long term
-In sum, your duties will be to preventatively maintain the property and fix anything that breaks inside or outside the buildings. This includes groundskeeping, cleaning, plumbing, carpentry, flooring, remodeling, etc. You do not need to be an expert in all of these areas, but you do need to be willing to figure out practical solutions to the common problems of building maintenance
-We pay a fair wage for a fair day's work. It is fair to base that amount on the specific job applicant's experience and value they bring to us
