5 Year Old OTTB

Meet Bay Mobile, aka Rhett — a 5-year-old (just turned 5 on 4/24), 17HH OTTB gelding with a big personality and even bigger potential.
Rhett raced 5 times between Louisiana Downs and Evangeline Downs and comes from a strong pedigree (his sire was Horse of the Year twice). He’s clean-legged with nice, correct conformation and no known injuries. He’s been vetted, UTD on everything, teeth done, and I do have X-rays of his feet available.
I had him going under saddle last summer/fall and he did very well. He is quiet and willing under saddle, but still green and truly a blank slate to take in any direction—hunter/jumper, barrels, speed events, etc. He is the type that needs a job and consistency to thrive.

Coming off a long winter with limited work (UP life ❄️), Rhett has become pushy on the ground and can be challenging to handle at times. Because of this, he is being sold as experienced handler only. This is not something he always struggled with—when I first got him, he was respectful and easy to handle—so I truly believe with consistent work and the right person, he will come back around.

✔ Front shoes on (typical thinner-soled TB, currently on hoof supplements and improving nicely)
✔ Sweet, goofy personality — will do anything for muffins (seriously 😂)
✔ Loves attention (and expects a kiss on the nose at grain time 💛)
This is a very hard decision, but I simply don’t have the consistent time he needs, and he deserves someone who can give him a job and bring out his full potential.
