Tree protector tubes. These tubes roll up to about four inch diameter and are put on the trees when young to protect them from deer and rabbit and other animal browsing. The trees grow within them until they start splitting the tubes open. They are five feet (60 inches tall) and are about 16 inches wide, and roll up to the four inch diameter. They roll up and are held together with zip ties and held in place with long wooden stakes, or my favorite, 1/2 inch reinforcing rod. I ordered them from a nursery who sent the wrong ones to me. Rather than pay the return postage I opted to sell them. There are eight of them and I paid six dollars each for them for a total of $48.00. They come with a package of 25 zip ties. They are still in the box they came in and have not been used. The price is six dollars each for the total of $48.00.
