This maple burl is for sale for $30. I have had it in dry storage for over 35 years in dreams of making a couple bowls when I got around to it. Well, I never got around to it and I have enough projects in the que that I clearly will never get the lathe nor the time to tackle this. Time for another to put in their list of neat projects . Perhaps you are that wood worker that knows exactly how to do this and has been looking for just such a piece. The yard stick gives a good idea of the dimensions.
