Our nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced Event Technician to work on FRIDAY, March 20, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and SATURDAY, March 21, 2026, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Duluth, MN (can apply for only one date).
The Event Technician will be responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of our seminar from start to finish.
Event Technician Responsibilities & Duties:
• Operate audiovisual equipment (videos, images, and PowerPoint slides).
• Troubleshoot technical issues during event.
• Collaborate with event planner to understand technical requirements.
• Monitor audiovisual feeds during events to ensure quality standards.
• Conduct pre-event tests and inspections to ensure equipment functionality.
Event Technician Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience with audiovisual equipment in a professional setting.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Familiarity with event planning and coordination.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Zoom meetings, recordings and Share Screen.
• Proficiency in operating audiovisual equipment.
