Looking for an awesome vintage stereo receiver? You are reading about one now. This Sherwood S-9910 vintage stereo receiver has been recapped, cleaned up and sounds as good if not better than any Pioneer, Sansui or Marantz receiver of equal wattage and era. Both power boards and preamp board have been recapped. The main capacitors have been replaced. The protection relay has been cleaned and placed back. There were many transistors, resistors and diodes replaced. There were 15 hours of work put in by a very experienced technician. Included in this description is a picture of the repair sheet.

The rebuild was completed about three years ago. I have sporadically used the Sherwood S-9910 receiver during since. It is simply beautiful, and sounds amazing. Warm, detailed, clear and plenty of power at 100wpc.
