The Star 10WZ is a refillable, windproof flip-top petrol lighter manufactured by the Star company in Wenzhou, China. As a heavy-duty, Zippo-style lighter, it uses standard petroleum-based lighter fluid to operate.Refilling Your LighterPull the insert: Open the lighter's lid and pull the interior metal casing out of the outer shell.Expose the cotton: Turn the insert upside down and locate the small fabric flap/felt pad at the bottom.Add fluid: Lift the pad and slowly pour your lighter fluid directly onto the cotton wadding (or "gauze") inside.Do not overfill: Saturate the cotton until it is damp, but stop before it pools or overflows.Reassemble: Pop the insert back into the outer casing, wipe off any excess fluid, and wait a moment for the fluid to absorb before attempting to strike.Maintenance & PartsFluid: You can use any standard petrol lighter fluid, such as Zippo Lighter Fluid, which is readily available at most local retailers (e.g., Target or Walmart).Flints & Wicks: When the flint wears out or the wick gets too short, they can be easily replaced.
