Created by Jack Kirby during his run on 2001: A Space Oddessy, Machine Man was unique at the time--and is still a very strong supporting character for Marvel Comics! In the Marvel Comics Fan Magazine FOOM # 20, he does an interview and states "I really like Machine Man--the story moves quickly and almost writes itself and the character is very fun to work with"!
