At an archeological site in central Spain, Clive Arno discovers some mysterious coins that give him superpowers! These are the coins of the Elders of Apsu. Arno's partner Krellik tries to steal the coins. Failing this, Krellik discovers the coin of Chernobog, the Slavic god of evil. Krellek follows Arno back to Metropolis where the confrontation between the two men continues, and is witnessed by none other than SUPERMAN!! Captain Action then follows Krellik to Greece where Krellik is in search of the Tokens of the Three Furies (Alecto, Tisiphone and Megaera). The issue concludes with a defeated Captain Action unconscious on a beach!
