The graphics are incredible bright and clean and features Dick Tracy as he investigates a series of crimes involving a character named Jean Penfield, an artist and the Daughter of a friend of Chief Brandon, who is writing a book about criminals! The story includes themes of danger, romance, and intrigue as Tracy navigates the dangers posed by Jimmy White and various villains and attempts to protect Jean from harm after uncovering their crimes!
TRIVIA: Dick Tracy was first published only in the Detroit Sunday Mirror on October 12, 1931! The strip then went syndicated to the NY Daily News in October that year! Chester Gould wrote and drew Dick Tracy from 1931 to 1977, a total of 46 years and won the Reuben Award for the strip in 1959 and 1977!!
