Not sure of the year. Bought it locally from a guy who had it in his barn…. from a St Paul Bike shop! It was already set up with the drop bars and brake handles in this format. Replaced the 27” Scwhinn steel rims with some 26” aluminum ones. Original rear 3 speed hub was toast (tried rebuilding it) so updated instead. Cold set the frame to fit wider hub. New brake calipers for the longer reach. Original brake handles and handlebars and grips. Brand new Micheline Country Rock 26x1.9 tires and fresh inner tubes. New rat trap pedals. Cleaned all bearings. Cleaned and waxed the frame. Fenders are original… rear one was a bit banged up so trimmed off those bits for a cooler look and added some new mounting points to the front fender stays for a closer fit. Add a rear derailleur if ya want gears or keep it single speed. Make it yours!
