Per Mar Security Services is seeking a Security Consultant for Duluth and the surrounding area. As a Security Consultant for Per Mar, the qualified candidate would be responsible for the sales of Electronic Security Systems including burglar alarms, smoke detectors, CCTV, Access Control and all related equipment and services to commercial and residential clients. This person would build the business by cold calling, telephone leads, customer call-ins and referrals, networking, and by other methods of acquiring new business. Responsibilities would also include designing the layout of the systems for the clients and follow up once the systems are installed. The Security Consultant would be responsible for processing all paper work ensuring the customers’ requirements are met and for providing complete customer service and satisfaction.
Qualified candidates will have at least one year of successful outside sales experience, preferably in Electronic Security or related electronic or technical sales, but Per Mar will train the right candidate. A college degree is preferred, but experience and a proven track record will be considered. Candidates must possess excellent communication and organizational skills, the drive to succeed in sales, must be very self motivated and goal oriented, professional and personable in presence and a team player. Above all, candidates must be dedicated to excellent customer service. Candidates will be required to pass an extensive background check and drug testing.
