This Investment Grade, signed and dated wood sculpture is a Commissioned 2004 work of folk art by well known Hurley, WI Chainsaw Sculptor Jeff Prust whose sculptures have sold internationally as well as throughout the US. This was commissioned in 2002 and took 2 years to finish. It is entirely carved by hand, with a chainsaw, out of pine. It has been inside the owner's home on display, since delivery in 2004 and has been well cared for and has no damage whatsoever. It is in excellent condition. It does have sought after "checking." This is cracking that adds character and is common with chainsaw carvings.
The Indian is in full dress fringed buckskins, detailed moccasins and a chieftan headdress with feathers. He is holding a box in his left hand filled with cigars that are individually detailed. The box has a 5 cents price on it. The back of the sculpture is in fully carved detail just like the front. It is fully painted in natural, realistic colors and has a protective high gloss finish for outside or inside use and protection.

Total height is 81 inches. The base is 23 inches square and 8 inches high. The Native American Indian stands 6'3" tall. The widest dimension of the Indian is 22" and depth is 19". Do not know the actual weight but it is VERY heavy and requires a minimum of 2 strong men to move.
This is a larger-than-life-sized statue. One of a kind, commissioned piece of art that is not found anywhere else. Not a mass produced novelty item. You will never see another one of these. Perfect conversation piece and a stand out for a business. Truly is a beautiful work of art.
